If you are using our refunds module you will be able to initiate and track refunds in the "Refunds" menu. If you need the refunds module enabled please contact your relationship manager and he will be able to activate it for you.
In the "Refunds" menu you can view each refund you have made via Flywire.
We have in place a pre-approval process setup when any user from you institution initiates refunds. There are 3 refunds sections:
Here you can track the list of refunds or bundle of refunds that are waiting to be approved. For each refund request, you can check the created date, the name of the requester, the payment id and the amount.
Once a refund request was approved, Flywire creates a bundle that contains that refund. A bundle groups one or more refunds that were approved.
For each bundle, you can check the approved date, the number of refunds, the total amount and the bundle status (Pending, Approved, Received).
Here you can track each individual refund you made via Flywire linked to one payment:
- Created date
- Refund id
- Payment id
- Bundle id
- Status - Indicates the status of the payment. It can be: Initiated, Received, Finished, Cancelled, Reverted
- AML - Indicates the status of the AML/KYC (Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer) process by which the payer identity and account information is validated
